The Modular Training System

Test…ARTS utilises a modular training system designed to deliver flexible, scalable, and client-specific training solutions for technical crew engaged in hoisting operations worldwide. This approach allows for the development of comprehensive training programs, ranging from foundational aviation instruction to complex Search and Rescue (SAR) hoist operations, while also incorporating supplementary training such as medical, human factors, and other operator-specific requirements.

There are several key Features and benefits of the ARTS Modular Training System, which are set out in the following subsections.

Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Course Design

A detailed Training Needs Analysis (TNA) is conducted at business and operational levels to establish the specific training requirements of each client. During this process, input and output standards are collaboratively defined with the client.

  • Input Standards determine baseline knowledge, skills, and competencies required or possessed by relevant learners before the start of the training program.
  • Output Standards specify the performance levels and competencies learners are expected to achieve upon completing the course, ensuring compliance with operations manuals, training manuals, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.

Customisable Training Pathways

Once input and output standards are established, relevant modules and elements are selected to construct a tailored training program. Client-specific content is then integrated into these modules and elements, ensuring the training aligns directly with the client’s operational procedures, equipment, and mission profiles.

Scalable Program Design

The modular format allows for the creation of tailored training solutions that cater to varying levels of complexity and specialisation. From introductory hoisting operations to advanced SAR scenarios, programs can be scaled and adapted to meet the distinct needs of trainees and operational contexts.

Comprehensive Coverage

Beyond core hoisting operations, the modular system encompasses a wide range of additional training requirements, including specialist hoisting, medical training, human factors, and other essential skills, providing a holistic approach to crew readiness and safety.

Regulatory Compliance and Industry Standards

All training modules are designed to meet the standards of relevant regulatory authorities and industry best practices, ensuring that learners achieve the competencies required for safe and effective operations.

Continuous Improvement

The modular system supports ongoing refinement and enhancement based on client feedback, evolving industry requirements, and technological advancements. Regular reviews and updates ensure that training remains current, effective, and fully aligned with operational demands.
