The BOLD Training Philosophy
Bespoke Optimised Learning Dynamics (BOLD) defines our tailored approach to training, assessment, and achieving targeted learning objectives. The BOLD philosophy offers a highly personalised learning approach tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and preferences while optimising learner outcomes. BOLD training removes the one-size-fits-all approach to courses and learning and replaces it with an adaptive process that adjusts dynamically to clients’ and learners’ requirements and needs.
At the core of the BOLD approach is a commitment to fostering meaningful, effective, and adaptive learning experiences that drive individual and organisational success. Our learning methodology goes beyond traditional training models, focusing on personalised development that aligns with each participant’s unique needs, goals, and learning styles, whilst maintaining focus on the needs and requirements of their employer where applicable.
ARTS believe learning is most effective when relevant, engaging, and tailored. By placing the client and learner at the centre of the process, we ensure that every individual receives a pathway specifically designed to meet their current skills, knowledge gaps, and future objectives, whilst meeting employer goals and expectations. Our adaptive methods empower learners to take ownership of their development while ensuring they meet the defined output standards.
Bespoke
All courses and training programs are designed around the client, their Operations Manual, regulatory environment and needs. The output standard required by the client is also determined so this can be factored into course design.
Courses and training programs are then built using our modular training system, and client-specific content created to ensure that learners are being trained in accordance with relevant and specific policies and procedures.
Optimised
Once the output standard/expectation has been clearly defined, we undertake learning gap analyses and baseline assessments to determine the input standard of individual learners and set out student-specific training paths.
This is essential to ensure that the training is tailored to individual learning needs and that reasonable adjustments can be made to reflect unique learning requirements. Some adjustments may be made through the process of assessment agreements, which are set out in Section 3 of this manual.
Learning
While the learning process is tailored and flexible, the focus remains on achieving the client’s desired outcomes. By aligning training objectives with operational goals, we ensure that learners acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to demonstrate the competence required to perform safely and effectively in their roles.
We blend diverse learning formats and delivery methods to maximise knowledge retention and practical application. By leveraging emerging technologies, we are able to optimise and streamline the learning process and learner experience.
Dynamics
We implement continuous, developmental, and holistic assessments to monitor learner progress, address challenges promptly, and adapt each learner’s training path as required. This approach keeps learners engaged and appropriately challenged, ensuring they neither feel overwhelmed nor under-stimulated.
While a structured learning plan provides a clear roadmap, its value lies in flexibility. Ongoing evaluation of learner progress enables us to make timely, targeted adjustments, ensuring the training remains aligned with each individual’s needs and the desired competency outcomes. This dynamic process not only supports learners in overcoming obstacles but also enhances the overall effectiveness and efficiency of their journey toward competence.
